Instagram Competition – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this competition is TotalEnergies Marketing Australia, located at 360 Elizabeth St, Melbourne VIC 3000 (“Promoter”).
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. By entering, participants release Instagram from any responsibility.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Tasmania, Australia aged 18 years or over.
Employees of the Promoter, its related companies, agencies, and their immediate families (including parents, siblings, spouses, children, and household members) are not eligible to enter.
3. Competition Period
The competition opens at 5pm AEST on 29th April 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST 14th May 2026 (“Competition Period”). Entries submitted outside this period will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, eligible participants must complete all of the following steps during the Competition Period:
- Like the competition post on Instagram
- Follow @totalenergies_au on Instagram
- Tag a friend in the comments of the competition post
- Each unique tag counts as one (1) entry
- Multiple entries are permitted
- Tagged accounts must be real individuals (no fake, business, or celebrity accounts)
5. Prize
The prize consists of:
Two (2) General Admission tickets to the 2026 Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440 at Symmons Plains Raceway, Tasmania (22–24 May 2026).
Prize Conditions:
Flights, accommodation, and all other travel-related expenses are not included
The winner must be able to travel to Launceston, Tasmania at their own expense and by their own means
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. Any additional costs not expressly stated are the responsibility of the winner.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on 15th May 2026 at 360 Elizabeth St, VIC 3000.
The winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message within 24 hours of the draw.
If the winner does not respond within 24 hours of being contacted, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants, including confirming residency in Tasmania.
By entering, the winner agrees to their name and/or Instagram handle being published on the Promoter’s social media channels. The winner’s details (last name, first initial and state) will be published underneath the competition post.
7. Prize Delivery
The prize will be digitally delivered to the winner’s nominated email address, or tickets transferred through Ticketmaster (a Ticketmaster account may be required to receive the tickets). The Promoter is not responsible for delays outside its control.
8. Privacy
By entering, participants consent to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of administering this competition. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
9. General
The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms & Conditions
The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or Instagram platform outages
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances arise beyond its control
10. Acceptance of Terms
Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
