Saft, a wholly owned subsidiary of TotalEnergies, operates in Australia as a specialist in advanced battery solutions, supporting the country’s transition to cleaner, more resilient energy systems. With offices and a depot in Sydney, Saft Australia focuses on the design, production, and deployment of high-tech batteries for industrial applications, including energy storage systems (ESS), mobility, and backup power. The company plays a key role in enabling grid stability and renewable integration, as demonstrated by its contributions to projects like the Agnew Gold Mine in Western Australia and a 100MW/200MWh battery project in New Zealand.
